Ah the Punisher, looks great done by you! I hope it definitely comes back someday, and yours is worthy of representing it in-game IMO.

As for the Cycler, I recall it being longer and thinner. Yours feels a little stubby to me. I'd change the magazine to make it less oval (but still rounded at the bottom) and change the stock to something chunkier.

Just my 2 pennies. Nice work.

General deal would be extend T1 Cycler's barrel and stock, and then it would be about 50x better more appropriate than the PS2 model..

Screw the Thumper, never bring that thing back.

Freaking plasma grenade spam in towers, one of my biggest nightmares.

Shamed to say I was one of the spammers, was lacking in skill so resorted to cheese :(

There's less camping of doorways in PS2 compared to PS1, so the Thumper would probably be less of an issue.

That said, I kind of hate how the underslung GLs work currently - OHK with no warning and no indication that it was anything other than a normal AR/carbine that killed you.

At the very least they need some more distinctive graphics and sound, and ideally to show up differently on the kill screen. Making them faster-firing and with more ammo, but requiring two or more hits to kill would also be good.

So maybe look at those first, and then consider how the Thumper could fit in.

Well, the underslung GLs are like the perfect stealth weapon. They make almost no sound, instantly kill, and are near-untraceable.

Yeah, they are pretty outta line. I hate anything that one-shots infantry in this game, as it really takes away from the sense of 'engagement' that you have when facing an enemey; you can literally do -nothing- about it in most cases.

I've been looking to make my renders more pleasing to look at, so I went and gave the Cycles rendering engine a try, also added some fluff to it. Thoughts on this method?

By the way, what program(s) do you use for these? Zbrush? 3ds Max?

Blender for modeling/rendering, Photoshop for any extra details like text.

I really like your Punisher!

That said, what do you think about making it a little thinner? It feels rather fat and chunky when you see it from the angles taken in the new render. A bit like a toy.

I still think it is awesome though.
