Note to everyone, all "I am in beta threads" will be locked from here on out. My main reason for doing this is I dont want you guys to get yourselves in trouble. Announcing your in beta is in violation of the NDA. Just looking out for my users ;)

Soon enough Open Beta will be here and we can talk all we want about PS and the game elements ;)

We'll have 11,000 "exclusive" beta testers by the end of this week.
When we launch Open Beta (soon), we'll be adding something like 20,000 *more* testers.

Most folks will be in the game...but we simply don't have the manpower to weed through each and every application to hand-pick entries. We did that until we had about 1700 players...but it's all been batch sorting since then.

We look at system specs, geographic locations, etc. as a basis for letting folks in...not how long they've been following the game.

I asked on the PS Beta forum if announcing you got into beta breaks NDA and they said no :confused:

No Problem tho if you don't want them all over this site. I can see how that can get out of hand with 20000 soon to get into open beta.

i read somewhere a dev posted that we CAN say we are in beta, jsut not release any info about it. I would check but SOMEONE SEEMS TO HAVE LOCKED MEH OUT OF THE FRICKIN BETA SITE UNTIL THEY START FRICKIN BETA! FRICKIN!

He also said "A couple of weeks", which is not soon after you've been exposed to the beta forum and have your own printed copy of the manual. I'm beginning to think this was an intentional slip to generate hype.

WEll i think i've about given up on PSbeta. I updated my dxdiag.txt. But whats it matter. If they haven't emailed me by now they ain't ever gonna. Funny thing is, is i just got invited to participate in SWG Beta.

I always thought that beta would never start, and then before I knew it, BAM! Then I thought open beta would never begin, and BAM, e-mails go out. If we just hang in there a LITTLE longer, release day will be here.

Hmm well if there's a chance that saying I got an e-mail could in theory get me removed I think I'll just say this:

I diiiiidn't just get my e-mail last night and I was only shouting "FUCK YEAH BABAY I'M IN WOOOOOOT!!!!" because my fururistic spy drone finally managed to hover it's way into Cathirine Zeta Jones' shower and get pictures...
