Recruiter benefits - how long to update?

I made two alts, bought $10 of SC with my steam wallet funds on each, and am still waiting (2 hours) for the update on my main. Is this correct?

Here is what I sent to SOE Support;

If money purchased via Steam is considered 'virtual currency' for the purposes of recruitment rewards, I wish to point out that this is not in any manner clarified - and I request an override.

To clarify - the only information is the following clause;

'Purchases made with virtual or in-game currencies do not count towards the qualifying amount.'

Given that Steam Wallet funds are purchased with $AUD, and Planetside 2 is available on steam, I anticipate that this would be no different to purchasing via the SOE website, and nor is it in in game currency.

There is 0 fine print restricting it to the US.

There is a $ amount in AUD for those who purchase - indicating that it is available in Australia.

Who Qualifies as a recruiter?

Players at least 13 years of age with accounts in good standing (not banned or suspended) may participate as a Recruiter.

Further; I'd argue that 'Virtual or ingame currency' does not include Steam Wallet funds (in AUD/USD), and nowhere is this clarified in the FAQ. Seeing as you are able to purchase SC in game, and are ONLY given the option to do so via Steam, I would think that it would be eligible.

Wonder if SOE would react if someone maxed out their recruiter rank by doing a method similar. I mean they get money out of it 250 dollars if i am not mistaken.

If he subscribe to the game, do I receive the bonus?
If he buy 1000 sc, does he needs to spend it so I get the bonus, so just buying 1000 sc it is enought for me to get the bonus so I need more?
I need some awnsers, because 250 dollars is too much money, but 100 dollars on triple sc it means I can get all bonus up to 10 for 33 dollars, looks good for me.

They just need to buy the Stationcash they don't need to spend it. If they purchase a membership that should also mark that count towards counting to your overall recruits.

Why restrict that free money? Once I have the dough I will shamelessly do this. :|

Well yeah its free money for SOE but it also devalues the title and other stuff for people who did the hard yards. Still I am sorely sorely tempted to do this for that 6 month heroic boost as my alpha squad is just about up.

You need to spend $10AUD or $10USD (it's in the FAQ). There are minimum limits on spend $, not SC.

So it doesn't matter if it's 3x SC or not.
