Planetside Universe Community Event [Archive]

I had mentioned to Hamma months ago that I would like to organize a PSU Community event. The purpose of the event is, as members of this community, to celebrate the long running success of www.Planetside-universe.com. We're a community within a greater community, yet even among us, we're split between servers and empires. For a day, would you roll with PSU for a day, together?

First, I would like to welcome everyone to participate. It will be fun to run alongside those we know so well. We will need to first, determine an empire. Then choose a server and we will set a date. Let's start with the possibility of a Sunday. Hamma, are you available Sundays?

I also ask if someone from our European Theater would take on coordinating a date for them as well? All are welcome to both Western and Euro events.

that's a good idea, take the community event to the next level. you know I never thought I'd be saying this but we'd need suitable attire :brow:

My recommendation, if it's not to late to make one, is to roll TR. The reason being that PSU's founders roll as TR in CDL. If we're honoring the site then I think that this is most appropriate. Also, great idea, EP. :groovy:

Pending Hamma's approval, I actually wanted to roll and support CDL. So that would be TR Waterson?

Is 11 PST early enough for EU to make also? That's 8PMish?

I would be very surprised if that were correct, I don't know the real numbers either through :/

I'm in, any server any faction (hopefully Waterson with CDL), any night like after 8pm EST

Is that event all about bloodshed?
I was thinking about everyone on a pound in Amerish, a great pictorial with lots of players from different factions, everyone with the PSU decal.
We can also do some arena fights there, and a flash or harasser race, not weapons free! I love to see max fights, but since the introduction of ZOE, it is no longer fun to do it... Unless it is the same faction VS!
But of course, it is Hamma call to what to do in the event!

I am cool with any sort of event! Jumping on TR Waterson to dominate would be really cool I think. The further out it is the better chance i have of getting a bunch of our Outfit involved. Plus, I need to get away from my computer this weekend.. :lol:

Sounds good. Sunday September 1st. Is 11am PST good for most? Is that doable for EU too?

That would be great, i d like to get involved but this bank holiday weekend is gunna be mega busy for me. 11 pst is 7 pm in england i think.

Gunna start a TR on waterson for this, sorry lord Vanu ( and part time nc;))
