I am in China next month. How would I go about making an account at an internet cafe and playing with the Chinese for a bit?

You will need to provide date ,and place of birth,SS number ,and current address, and if your under age your parents information will be required as well.

They use all this info to prosecute anyone who breaks the TOA. "something the states needs to do"

AS long as they know who you are and where to find you, they will let you play.

Its going to be hard for you to navigate the game since it will all be in Chinese, but you will be playing a hack free version of Ps2.

Not for planetside 2, but i have created several accounts for other F2P games.

Everything should be the same, so navigating wont be to bad. I played a fps F2P game called War rock for years and the US servers were flooded with hackers 24/7. I was able to create a account on the Korean version of that same game with the help of a friend. He helped me to obtained a valid SS number, DOB,POB and proof of residency ,and after that i was good to go.

They tend to play games a bit different than we do here. like the game I mentioned above, there is a lean mechanic in game, but on the Korean server they dont use it, they think its cheep ,and there is no honor in using it. So while playing I had to avoid it ,or be persecuted and harassed non stop in a language I cant read.

You should be fine as long as you dont break the TOA.

I have made a 'the 9' account, but dnt know whether i need to activate it any more? It wont take my ID, wont send me a txt varification to my UK number even with the right codes and no way of paying for a standard membership or value box. Im might just try and log in a cafe later and see what it wants?
