Spot on guide and I agree with your assessment of the ZOE MAX. If used by someone know doesn't fully understand when and how to make use of the ZOE it can be detrimental. How those who do know how to use it the increased damage taken doesn't really come into play because everything around you is dead.

I've been pondering about some different ways of balancing the ability. The obvious choice would be a duration and/or a cooldown.
I've also been thinking about spicing it up a bit more, and just to note I'm just spitballing here. Mayhaps add in an overload function to the ability. When you activate the ability you just gain a movement bonus with not penalty, if you use it for long enough you gain a damage boost that lasts for a short while but also makes you take more damage (Have the damage taken be greater than it is now) and you glow even more. It then shorts out and goes on cooldown, it still has a duration whether or not you use it long enough to get the overload.

Oh and it seems like it's time for me to update my guide thread again. I was looking for a VS MAX guide:p

From a zoe user, i would say it is more so OP in medium range to medium/long as you can strafe better and still hit the target. We do get taken down easy and if i could give any advice on how to take on a zoe??? Just shoot it as much as you can (i know it sounds obvious) bullets really hurt us even with kinetic on full. Contrary to popular belief we can get scared away easy, 2 or 3 guys using cover gives us a hard time. 2 or 3 guys not using cover, are meat to the grinder however.

Something needs to be done for sure, hopefully they'll update it with a striker fix:)

In a game where movement is the key to survival ,giving a max the ability the move faster than all the infantry in the game is OP and imbalanced.

Zoey isn't a game breaking problem, but it is by far the most unbalanced aspect of infantry combat.

"Turn on lockdown and die" Yup that sums up our lockdown lol

nice job snoop

Nice video. ZOE needs some adjusting to be sure. But I think it's simply exacerbating a more fundamental problem with the MAX itself - it is one of the few true force multipliers in the game. A single player in a MAX can relatively effortlessly dominate a handful equally skilled players, usually more. This goes for all MAXes, not just ZOE.

I'd love it if they rebalanced all the MAXes and removed the CD/cost so that they could contribute to infantry combat just like every other class, instead of outright dominating it.

Zoey isn't a game breaking problem, but it is by far the most unbalanced aspect of infantry combat.

I wouldn't say that at all.
