does the "battery" in ANT vehicles run out? that is, can you refill a few ANTs, park'm outside the facility, pull the ANTs from your parking-lot, and refill the facility when the facility is running low?

Wow, that's one of the best questions I've heared in a while. :)

I dont think the battery on the ANT will run out but I'm pretty sure the ANT itself will. Most vehicles have a "No use" timer and dis-appear when it runs out. I'm sure it's the same with the ANT.

Highly explosive, hope no attacker with AV sees it.

I am pretty sure it does not run out, but as mentioned above. Its weak, and a driving bomb.

hehehe, that just gave me an idea... We'll fill up a few ANTs, and drive them into a crowd of hostiles, atleast they got cremated free of charge. :D

The Advanced Nanite Transport is the backbone of the system to draw energy from the ancient Vanu warp bubbles. Usable by any soldier with any other vehicle certification, the ANT is driven to warp gate bubbles where it deploys its charging vanes. Once the capacitors onboard are filled, the ANT is driven to a battle facility and deployed near a Silo. The energy then coruscates over to the Silo collector and the facility gains enough energy to be fully powered for a time.
So it doesn't, run out, as such. You can also hitch a ride in a Galaxy to speed up the process.

so park it somewhere concealable and close-by. you can call this location the ANT farm.
the situation i'm thinking of where this is useful is when enemy attack a base while the nrg supply is low, or attack it in waves to drain the nrg. you don't want to waste precious man-power to drive ANTs all the way from warp gate. just maintain a small ANT farm nearby, and resupply from there.
so much speculation :)

One guy stumbles on it, mega BEP for him. Probably only take one or two shots. If people aren't in them, they disappear in about an hour, so more BEP for that guy, and the drivers are really bored. Or one guy has to do saomething really menial and repetetive every hour.

I'm hoping the defense against an ANT bomb is that they are slow and easy to shoot on the way in.
You can't air drop these things, can you?

they do fit in galaxys so im sure you can drop them on emeny bases but theyy have to land giving them enough time to be shot.

A beta tester on one of the previewing sites said he dropped in an ANT and suffered some major but not crippling damage.

How high up? I'll bet Galaxies' service ceiling will do for explosion on impact.

Remember bout em kenetic dampers, the higher up, the better it works.;)
The guy that said he suffer serverly probly was dumped too low.......which brings in mind suicide mini-droppers! :D
And another question related to ANTs, how long does it take for a full silo to run out of energy? If more than 30 minutes, then the ANT farm wouldn't be much use, right?
Man the joys of being a truck driver.:D

I doubt vehicles have kenetic dampeners.
Do ANTs have trunks for equipment transport?

Well they got something to stop them from blowing up. I mean you've all seen pics of that ANT being droped from the Galaxy. Now does it have Dampers or not?
Hamma, we need a pic showing what vehicles use to stop themselves from blowing up when they drop outa a galaxy. Thats this weeks task!

- or what hellfire siad!:D
As said most likely they would disapear before you get to use your farm. That and/or enemy attacks.
