Well, with SOE's confirmation of this "Working as intended" with the new tooltips, what does this equate to?
Nanoweave
1 - 100
2 - 125
3 - 150
4 - 200
5 - 250
So, with the 1000c BASR (800@10m 550@100m) on a headshot(2x), that's 1600@10m, 1100@100m.
So, when does it lose lethality? Assuming a flat linear loss of damage starting at 10m, it loses 500 damage over 90m, or 5.55... damage per meter. So, it should hit 1250 damage @ 73 meters.
So, the top BASR is a OHK (on headshot) on anyone with 0 or 1 NW at any range.
Ranges for OHK headshot on other ranks of NW
1 - Any range
2 - 95.5 meters
3 - 91 meters
4 - 82 meters
5 - 73 meters
For the 100c BASR (750@10, 550@75), that equates to (Loses 6.15... damage/meter) OHK (headshot) on NW level X @:
1 - 75m (exactly enough damage 1100 vs 1100) - so, effectively any range.
2 - 70.9...m
3 - 66.9...m
4 - 58.75m
5 - 50.6...m
The Semi-Auto SRs are already not OHK, but I figured I'd add them for completeness. On a headshot the basic SASR does 800@10m to 668@75m. This equates to 1 Headshot + 1 Bodyshot on a NW 0 target for a kill at any range. Quite simple to do in many circumstances. How does the NW change this range?
SASR loses 2.0... headshot damage/meter (1.0... bodyshot damage/m, or 3.0... total lost between the 2 shots per meter), meaning you get a 2Shot KO on NW X @:
1 - 42.8...m
2 - 34.6...m
3 - 26.4...m
4 - 10m breaks even
5 - No longer possible 3rd shot or double headshot required.
If you can land a double-headshot, the numbers look like this:
1 - Any range
2 - Any range
3 - Any range
4 - Any range
5 - Any range
So, oddly enough, if you're fairly accurate with the SASR, it's actually more effective vs targets with NW than the BASRs are...
