Well, with SOE's confirmation of this "Working as intended" with the new tooltips, what does this equate to?
Nanoweave
1 - 100
2 - 125
3 - 150
4 - 200
5 - 250

So, with the 1000c BASR (800@10m 550@100m) on a headshot(2x), that's 1600@10m, 1100@100m.
So, when does it lose lethality? Assuming a flat linear loss of damage starting at 10m, it loses 500 damage over 90m, or 5.55... damage per meter. So, it should hit 1250 damage @ 73 meters.

So, the top BASR is a OHK (on headshot) on anyone with 0 or 1 NW at any range.
Ranges for OHK headshot on other ranks of NW
1 - Any range
2 - 95.5 meters
3 - 91 meters
4 - 82 meters
5 - 73 meters

For the 100c BASR (750@10, 550@75), that equates to (Loses 6.15... damage/meter) OHK (headshot) on NW level X @:
1 - 75m (exactly enough damage 1100 vs 1100) - so, effectively any range.
2 - 70.9...m
3 - 66.9...m
4 - 58.75m
5 - 50.6...m

The Semi-Auto SRs are already not OHK, but I figured I'd add them for completeness. On a headshot the basic SASR does 800@10m to 668@75m. This equates to 1 Headshot + 1 Bodyshot on a NW 0 target for a kill at any range. Quite simple to do in many circumstances. How does the NW change this range?
SASR loses 2.0... headshot damage/meter (1.0... bodyshot damage/m, or 3.0... total lost between the 2 shots per meter), meaning you get a 2Shot KO on NW X @:
1 - 42.8...m
2 - 34.6...m
3 - 26.4...m
4 - 10m breaks even
5 - No longer possible 3rd shot or double headshot required.

If you can land a double-headshot, the numbers look like this:
1 - Any range
2 - Any range
3 - Any range
4 - Any range
5 - Any range

So, oddly enough, if you're fairly accurate with the SASR, it's actually more effective vs targets with NW than the BASRs are...

Sorry for not knowing the ?old? values... but is this a nerf to NW?

So, I can only 0HK enemies snipers up to 91 meters, good to know. (assuming they all sue nanoweaver 5, like me).

The old values were "supposedly" percentage based and would have been lower than this. So, this is a buff to NW.

ah... ok

So, again forgive my ignorance on the subject (you'd think I would have cared more considering it is a big part of what I like to do) but how much does this change the max range for a OHK for r5 NW infil? Old vs. New?

Really the only people that it REALLY matters to not get that kill against are other snipers.

I never broke it down for the old values, but IIRC previously only lvl 5 NW protected against OHKO. Now it starts mitigating OHKOs @ level 2.

In reality, NW's been bugged for a while and has been providing these values (or close to it) for a while now. SOE didn't change the values, they just changed the tooltips, moving that from "Bug" status to definite "Feature" status.

Snipers along with shotguns only do 1.5x multipliers not 2x like other small arms.

Snipers along with shotguns only do 1.5x multipliers not 2x like other small arms.

I've seen this tested in multiple places and everything I've seen confirms 2x.

Do you have any reference for 1.5x?

Addition:Also - these ranges, as given, seem to match-up with people's posted experiences that I've seen, which further strengthens my belief that 2x is correct...
