Is the server up yet?

They seem to have really out done themselves with this round of cosmetics - not sure how they could have made the vehicles any more fugly and ridiculous looking if they'd tried. The default sunderer actually looks visually appealing next to the super glued monstrosities.

Can't wait for the pink harasser bumper.

So they have the time to put in more ridiculous looking cosmestics during their optimization phase but not other stuff?
Like a lattice on amerish. Or even just fixing mis-mapped areas like this one tower at east canyon that is sitting in the air since a month or longer.

Yeah, priorities....

Sunderer cosmetics look fine to me.

not sure about cosmetic complaints. They are optional, so don't use them.

Yeah, priorities....

Ignorance is bliss.

This stuff has probably been done for ages and just now making it's way onto the servers. They stagger this stuff out because like it or not they must keep making money off the game.

If the Bang Bus lights are what I think they are, and I hope I can change colors...I've been waiting for these since early beta.

Also, I'm still hoping for IR lights for my bus. I want to roll out in a tactical manner and that means light discipline damnit!

It's fine to say that but the art/asset team come across as nothing but a bunch of hypocrites: if someone submits something insane and not in keeping with the PS2 art style via player studio it'll never see the light of day, yet the art team consider it "totally ok" to include pink bumpers? Don't get me wrong I love cosmetics they give great customization to those that want that aspect but feel they've lost direction with the majority of these new ones.

The Sunderer is ridiculously proportioned as it is already (equal to and bigger than the MBT's) the cosmetics just inflate it to an almost laughable size.

Yeah, probably...

When you constantly add things to the shop but disregard easy to fix stuff (and the turret i mentioned is just the icing on the cake) the impression i get is "cash grab". And that is definetely not a good thing.
It's like adding and selling spoilers and unnecessary gadgets for a car that barely runs straight for a mile and constantly leaks oil.

Also defensive spawning seems to be broke now, atleast i don't get any defensive spawn options at all, just the ones in the near vicinity.

Edit: Weird, now sometimes i have defensive spawns avaible, sometimes i don't. o_0

Really dude?

Why do people jump so fast to play this card?

I can agree with some of that. I certainly felt the Miners Helmet for the TR was a blunder and some things are out of line with the immersion.

Why do people call it optimization while we all now it should be called PS-4 porting?

Considering it's the first time i "played this card" i wouldn't say it's "fast". I'm playing (on and off) since beta and never complained once about the cash shop (except mild jokes about that lumifibre nonsense).

But when the game still creates 0byte files in the mypictures folder since beta (because i dared to use non english letters in my windows username), when i see misplaced objects that stick out like a sore thumb not being fixed for months, when i see a half-finished lattice that looks like someone gave up after esamir (and i could go on here), and then see the most prominent feature of a patch is new shit for the shop, what impression of their priorities am i supposed to get here?

yay, hopefully the warpgate rotation will stop the NC and VS from crying like little girls

but regarding XP going towards the person who deployed the mines.... i think both the one who shot the mines AND the ones who deployed it should get the same rewards.

Sure, as long as they charge the person who shot the mine half the resource cost and refund it to the person who created it.

Maybe creating new art assets is less complicated/time consuming than modifying the lattice, especially if said art assets were perhaps already finished a while before their addition to the shop.

Not that your concerns aren't legitimate.

As it have said thousan of time now devs and designers are not the same persons.

For those who whine against cosmetics who come last time, look at what it follow.

So no, we can't say devs only make cosmetics, designer do. Devs work on lots of things. And it's not because you can't see it, that's not existing (look at the number of new bugs they comit each time ! bad exemple)
