Purely how it looks to me it looks to fill an offensive rather than supply/logistical role.

I'd like to see something design wise like the Boxer MRAV become the new ANT / AMS / Sunderer modular vehicle. I know its a modern day comparison but it looks like it's designed to be modular rather than bits and pieces super glued on as an after thought.

That looks really nice. I am hoping for a 6 - seater that fills the spot between Sundie and Harrasser, i have a hard time imagining what role Empire Specific Buggies with 3 seats would fill, that the Harrasser does not already cover perfectly.

I would love to see something like that in game. For us smaller Spec op outfits that would fulfill the role a lot better than the Galaxy tbh.

Yeah that bed would make a nice place for an ANT module. Would certainly make better sense than making the Sunderer have it. It would be great if the ANT were a separate vehicle but that probably won't happen so it would make more sense to combine it with this type vehicle if anything. Who knows what they have planned.

Anyway, the NS vehicles need to go away lol replace them with faction specific vehicles.

also, they should have the ability where they refill allied vehicle ammo and repair vehicle armour

i was also gonna say they may replenish infantries ammo but that'll make the engineers useless

even though at first glance seems similar to the PS1 Marauder/Enforcer/Thresher, i think it is not.
I think this might be a modular version of the Raider/Thunderer/Aurora.

I had a post a while back about a multi-role ANT/3C/EW light vehicle. (no ams), which this could be similar to (see my sig)

Yeah looks more like a Thunderer adaptation than the old Enforcer. A Harasser fitted with a Halebard is pretty much the PS1 Enforcer anyway.

The TR would probably get something similar to the PS1 Marauder but to not confuse players unfamiliar with PS1 it would be simpler to just give it the Raider's name instead of renaming the Marauder weapon.

Fairly sure we had some concept art floating around that looked like a Thresher a few months ago. It was flashed up during a Command Center or an FNO.

The marauder had two gun mounts in planetside 1. That's right, dual vulcans on a single vehicle as fast as a harasser.

note...the open back on the VS design... same loadout setup as the (NC) HMMWV-like vehicle...
this is definitely something modular.
and I also see no obvious turrets...

I'm holding my fingers crossed this is something to help platoon leaders, support players and people who are sick of the current resource system (ANT)

remember that bug on the vanu PPA on the 9th of September patch?

That is one hell of a Hover Scarab:D I hope they give it a cloak and instead of guns just have a melee attack where it's two front claws can pick up and lob vanguards across the map. That would be amazing and even out the op-ness between factions:)

I agree. I'm thinking rumble seat in the back and space for a mounted weapon on the top of the cab. Not unlike the harasser.

It looks like it's going to have more health from how it looks though, but perhaps have slower speed then the harasser. I'm guessing there's going to be a gun on top and the back is for someone to sit at. Let the engineer repair while moving rage begin!

It should be a separate vehicle. In PS1 the Harasser was a completely separate vehicle out side of the Empire specific buggy's.
