Throwing a curve into your rig

So Samsung have just launched a smartphone with a curved surface. You can get t.v.s as well in this fashion apparently. Would you get a gaming monitor that curves? Anyone have one? It's meant to increase immersion but hell id rather occulus rift sometime in the future.
