MAX boxing! No weapons, only fists!
Wait, can you still get the flare gun in PTS? If so then we should have a fight with nothing but those. That's be a real test there. I took part in a small mash up with TR and VS players doing this and it was great. We almost got banned for boosting to. (Not my video)

Indar is the only one to be optimised at the moment.

I know that i did read some guide sometime on how to get a separate copy of PS2 for the test server running without redownloading everything. Does anyone have a link for that or knows how it works by any chance? Redownloading takes WAY too long.

We will have about 15 guys on the PTS on Sunday for a previously arranged scrim so will be testing about this time.

Not much good for you on Miller tho.
And I've updated to reflect the correct conversion to 1pm PDT not 10pm PDT.
(could still come in handy if the battle is still raging.)

Still, it's handy! Not to mention I'm in the US. We have a few stalwart Aussie and Kiwi players in the outfit so it helps them out.

I'm just plain confused now...
What time, GMT, is this "stress test" taking place then? If it's early enough I'd hate to miss out :)

The one I linked in my quote to you is one that was coordinated on the official forums, the link was my entire post if you want to take a look.

A+ on the performance. There were a lot of bodies at Allatum and my framerate stayed locked at 60 with no crashes.
F- on the biolab redesign :/

How did it go then, apart from Illtempered's A+?
I'm afraid I couldn't make it :( although I did spend some time on Indar earlier in the evening. I can't say as I noticed much difference in performance (i7 quad core with 16gb RAM and Nvidia 675M 2gb).
I'm not much fussed with the changes to the HUD to be honest. I'm always to busy getting killed to take much notice of the information it provides me anyway.

Here's some feedback before I even get the client
It's about time we get a frickin pause button for the patch process! 9.95 gigs!?

It's about time we get a frickin pause button for the patch process!
Forgive me for asking Ruffdog, but what would that do exactly?
I mean, as is the case with all online games, everyone requires the same version of any game in order to play together. So we just have to bite the bullet and download those massive patches. My internet is very poor at times and a 9gb file can take up to five hours for me to download...
Or do you mean that you would like to download the 9gb bits at a time? In that case, as far as I'm aware, the Planetside install system allows you to do that.
If I cannot leave my laptop on overnight I simply close the front end down. Next time I start the front end it pretty much continues on from where it left off. Almost.
Tis a pain though, major updates. If you didn't realise an update was coming it cocks up all your plans...

The test was a mess because the Vanu, who has 66% of the population, was refusing to switch faction and was instead spamming brokenly OP ZOE for the lulz.
Not only that, they are taking out Sunderers and capturing adjacent linked bases to the Biolab . By the time the satellite bases were recaptured, people are pretty much done with it and left.
The Biolab fight itself isn't that big. They need a proper stress test where the place is bursting to the brim with players.

Yes a process that lets you get bits at a time and remembers where you were if you have to go offline. Maybe it does remember now in which case ignore this, but before, I lost my progress.
This patch took me in one go about 5.5 hours. People with slow lines who have not logged onto test for a while might just look at that and say "screw it"
