They say it's something weve been asking for since Day1. Hrmm. That could be damn near anything. Then they say it's something they kept saying they didn't have resources for, but now they've found resources for it. Hrmm.

human resources?
- continents - clegg cloned himself or trained others to make the land.
- hacking vehicles - they said they didn't have time to make models for faction vehicles when they're hacked.

processing resources? hrmm....
- its working doors and/or CE deployables.


pleasepleaseplease be more continents.

According to that video it must be something we wanted since day 1 but they have always withheld in their response because of lack of resources.

The only time I can remember having them holding back specific features because of resources is when people keep asking for all-city continents: They would take too long to make.

Other than that it could be anything and they say they will be doing it for the whole month, so we could be seeing weekly releases of long awaited features in upcoming November:
- new weapon modelling and sounds
- server transfers
- unified characters
- Hossin complete
- night camo's
- etc.

Expect the announcement on October 28th (TRay's tweet)

This is a tough one.

As the announcement comes a month prior to the actual anniversary, this says to me that whatever it is, it still isn't ready yet. The only thing that has me curious, is if this was something that has been worked on for the last month alongside the optimization patch.

I kind of doubt that it'll be something huge, so anyone getting their hopes up for Hossin or Intercontinental lattice will have to wait. That said I honestly have no clue, so I'll just wait until the 28th to get word.

Dude, I rolled laughing at this. I'd definitely go with a golden flash though.

If it isn't Hossin at least in part then I have no clue. Hossin has been overdue for a long time now and looked damn near ready back when it was put on the PTS.

To be honest Hossin is the only thing that can bring back most of the players who stopped playing. Clone the battle island 2-3 times and rig up a half assed lattice system while you're at it. But anything short of Hossin will not do all that much I think.

Oh god, together with according animations like in PS1 that feature alone would make me log on all the time to just do those. Of course using the combination of my female vanu char and the "Clueless" voice. :D

I thought here on PSU most of the people would be in hype for the New Resource System, that or you're simply not believing in it coming this year anymore, I shall keep my hope up for it, It's the best chance to balance out the Game by changing the vehicle / max spawn requirements and spam, I still pray for this Feature to be the one for the Special Anniversary.

After loading the PTS client today (post 1,777Mb patch) Full screen window mode is window mode again. The game no longer hogs top position. :D
(only tested on character selection so far)

I speculate that it'll be functional warp gates with a continental lattice to allow for a continent ownership progression along with the release of Hossin and the Battle Islands. Possibly even the addition of a pseudo sanctuary for the anniversary.

I somehow doubt they would just keep a whole set of battle islands ready and under wreaps while they are still not 100% done with Hossin and Nexus.
