Nicely done! I didn't know one of the leading Player Studio folks was only 16. Hope he gets to spend the cash instead of his parents!

Wow, that's really nice! And he continues to make more if the cosmetic sells, right? Crazy stuff.

Dear me... Guess I should have paid attention in art class :D At least he/she doesn't need a summer job anymore...
Too bad the EU folks won't have an opportunity to participate yet, US gets a big head start when it comes to designs being "taken".

8k??? That's just crazy. I've actually finished modeling helmet myself, and SOE is interested in putting it in the game. I feel pretty good right now.

Same here. I have an NC helmet idea that I think would just print money. But I have no idea how to make anything as a 3d model. I can build things out of bare metal, plastic, wood, and near anything with my hands, but not with a PC.

If someone is able to make models I would be happy to split the payout with ya.

That would be what $2 after taxes?

Nah but seriously that's a nice job on someone's behalf.

It's the USA, not Europe.

The biggest news in that interview is actually that the game will not be released on PS4 this year.

Good for that guy. Playerstudio is a very good system (or will be once its world wide) the 40% cut is a lot more generous than it would be in a lot of other companies schemes.

Arctorn is older than that. We asked him in ItZMuRdA's stream chat yesterday.

Great effort, imagine how much it could have been if the population levels had not been on the slide.

I saw the news, my question is:
What is the item he created?
My second question is:
Why is my signature a new decail on player studios? Do the player studios check for copyright before publishing anything? It is not mine, but it is not the author who is publishing it! (I am 90% sure that the autor is dead).

Murphy's Law - by the time the EU get access to Player Studio, they'll probably stop doing it. The games industry give US players preferential treatment most of the time anyway.

That is absolutely delightful to hear.

The player studios people do a very large amount of checks on stuff before it gets past the many levels of approval before its accepted. You can see this on the player studio forums, when they are naming and shaming people for using clipart.

This thread is the author of the art piece you use for a sig.
I think the decal version would of looked better , and also been larger without the rear TR logo/shield. Im hoping it still looks good though.

Screw all this network programming on real-time critical systems costing millions per hour per downtime, I should get into 3D modelling!

So I'm guessing that SOE isn't hurting for income then.

I'm assuming BeastBuster was the one who got the payout - it sounds as though his "Spectre" helmet sold really, really well.
