Nanoweave Armor + Resist Shield after PU2?

Hello,
How do think should i react to the changes to Nanoweave Armor and the Resist Shield in the last Update?
Should i just continue using this combo, or is something different better now? I love the resist shield, so i want to keep it. But makes Nanoweave now sense?

According to Youngblood and Coolaid, Resist and NWA are still a pretty good combo. You could also try out Advanced Shield Capacitor and see if thats more to your liking.

NWA is more small / auto arms resistant now, whereas before it also helped against explosive damage. The latter was removed in the last patch, giving flak a more defined role.

Now NWA won't help Resist Shield at all. So I use a combo of NWA and Adrenaline Shield/NMG -or- Resist Shield with Advanced Shield Capacitor depending on the situation I'm in. When using RS with ASC I keep an eye on my shield bar so as soon as it reaches zero I pull out of combat, let my shield recharge and return to do some more damage. This is good when you're in an area with lots of cover to hide and let your shield recharge.

The combogot a needed nurf but still have pretty good synergy. If your not aware, the two do not stack while resist is active. However, one of the biggest weaknesses of resist shield is taking unnexpected damage before you can activate it. The 20% damage resist from nano helps tominimize that damage allowing resist to have a larger health pool to work with when its up. Health pool is crucial to resist as it never fully prevents damage. Nano also helps keep you alive once your shield is out and needs to recharge.

There are several other great combos you may try as well which seem to work well. ACS works well with nano and stock shield for more agressive play styles, but not as tanky as resist. Adrenaline combos are good for farms or any situation where you have a advantage over multiple opponents.
