I figured I'd do a game review now and then, for the heck of it.
Jurassic Park: OG is a park management game in which you build your park and clone dinosaurs from the DNA you recover. DNA is recovered from sites all over the worldl using your dig teams headed up by Dr. Grant. You cna get anywhere from 12- 35 percent of the genome from a single bone set, depending on the quality.
You clone the dinosaurs in the hachery and release them into pens of varying security level. I cannot comment on how to deal with breakouts, for I haven't had one yet, but you can use automatic gun emplacements to protect visitors, and place them in protection shelters.
One of the major differences in this game, aside from the dinosaurs, is the chopper and car. If you have a ranger station, you can board the chopper and fly it around your park. It has two modes, shoot and utility. In shoot mode, you can tranquilize dinos, immunize them from desease and cure current ailments, and restart the heart of a comatose dino. You can also put down dinosaurs that are ill or endangering visitors, and spread lours, as well as "herd" them with an ultrasonic wave that causes them to run in the other direction. This can be used to push them towards the viewing windows inlayed into the gatrs, or the tunnels that run underground and into viewing domes inside the pens themselves.
Going to go play some more, I'll update later. I highly reccomend it if youl ike park management, and liked the first movie, although the third was a pile of steaming crap.
Cheers. :D
