PS1 Hype!

It's been about a month since SOE announced that PS1 will be going F2P and I haven't seen much in the way of activity, besides a few people who've posted so far saying they're coming back. Let's try and generate some more discussion and hype shall we?

What's the the first thing you're going to do when the game goes F2P? What empire will you be playing? Doing anything different this time around? How many of your friends or outfit members do you have coming back?

theres something im considering along these lines to get anyone interested in ps1 back together. its still just an idea in my head but ill outline it here soon when i figure the rest out.

Having a LAN between friends the first weekend. Told at least 10 people with half of them gauranteed to play when they have time on a regular basis.

Hoping SOE will announce their 'April plan' to all customers anyway and PS1 will be written somewhere within the small print or on a related link. So that would be good

Assuming any of what SOE is true, i'll be back. I usually play late nights, around 8-10 PM PST.

I've always taken the shock trooper type approach, hot dropping in blind spots and clearing a path for friendlies, that type of thing. But I honestly just feel like playing support. Get a Lodestar/AMS combo up with tons of C.E., repair and revive everything, hack shit if I can, make ANT runs. Just sounds satisfying.

There is no media or gm support we are going to ask for a player mod program. And see if soe will bite. A few player mod will the right check and balances and the right heart we can thrive. I also wanna try to get ahold of brewko and ask him questions and see if he is willing to help but he doesn't work for soe anymore and they cant give out info on ex employees so we need to find a email, twitter something.

If all they are doing is putting this up on steam for free and hoping for the best, it is going to be a trainwreck. I would hope SOE would have more pride than to allow that to happen but well uh yeah umm nevermind.
