Knife???

Has anyone ever really killed someone with their knife? LOL i can barely kill people with my gun let alone get close enough to knife them.:confused:

stealthers are better for knife but if you have darklight you can see them :) TRs pistol is the best i think knifes are dumb just pistol them its faster :D

while where on the subject, when stabbing with the knife, do u just slash wildly, or can u sneek up from behind and cut their throte like real life? cos slashing os boring.

The knife itself doesn't do much damage, but if secondary mode and mellee booster is activated it can kill epople in one or two slashes.

in one of the beta journals he talks about killing ppl with the knife so obvisiously its been done and im sure its no harder then doing it in counterstrike and i do it all the time

It does suck. It's so boring and if you happened to get picked off with some enemy's lucky ass hs you gotta sit there and wait for everyone to die. It's like you're playing half the time and waiting the other half. Play Day of Defeat, it's way better and a lot more team based.

kinda funny you mention this.....i dont have beta but my friend does...i love being the "assassine" type of classes.....so i decide to be a infilitrator with a knife........i was on a rampage with me and my knife with about 5 kills in a row.....i used the chain saw type of knife secondary attack with silent run implant...good way to elimanate snipers that are scoped

U wanna know why every1 play CS? Theres al lot of reasons. First, its totally FREE if u got HL, and since HL was one of the most selling comp games in the world every1 had HL, and sinec every1 had HL they could download CS 4 free from the internet! And since HL was a huge success every1 thought that CS would b ruling so they downloaded it right away, there u got ur reasons.

NEIN, NO AREA SPECIFIC DMG WHAT SO EVER. Doesent matter if u hit a HeadShot or a ass shot or a shot in the leg, it does the same dmg whereever u hit.

No. There's just one big target, and getting shot in the toe hurts as much as the face.

Nah, it's because it will make the game less laggy. Hit zones don't matter if the game is so jerky you can't hit people at all.

Yes, unless they can figure out a way to make it less laggy (without buying us all T3 connections and putting the servers on ceptupal OC-48s) the "one big target" aspect of the game works well. IMO the hit zones would be good if they put more dmage on the upper body and less on the lower, i know you would like that too, refering to all those "cal i" players with 1337 hs ability!

knifes are very useful in circumstances where you have stumbled on an enemy who had no idea that you were there. i played an engineer on BF1942 because you get a bayonette rather than a knife, so you can shoot if you want to and stab if you need to. so i hope knives are very useful in this game, particularly for infiltrators.

If counterstrike was based on luck... as Spike seems to think, then why is there leagues and tournaments that give over 10 grand to the winner if it was based on luck??? Ya didn't think you had an argument for that one bro! Anyways I ain't a hater but the game is the most popular online game of ALL FRICKIN TIME, maybe you just need to give it some practice. Because CS takes much much practice to become good at it, it's probably the most skilled game on the market IMO. And yes leagues do make it better/more fun. Anyways I just needed to comment on that... thanks for listening
