What galaxy is better and why?
USAF C5 Galaxy:

PS Galaxy:

In my uneducated opinion, I think that the PS one should be closer to the C5's size , so you can fit an entire devision in it insted of just a squad :p
the problem being, something that large (C5 Galaxy...or even worse, a C-141 Starlifter....is beyond the beyond as far as humungous) trying to perform STOL/VTOL maneuvers in a wooded area.
but yeah, all things being equal, I'd love to move an entire armored division in a single aircraft. add stealth to the formula and I think we'd have a real winner.
TR only, of course.

actualy first a C-141 is smaller than a C-5 considerably. Second, they can carry upto 2 of our largest tanks, or 4 apaches, or around 200 fully equipped troops. A division is considerably larger than this (200 is around company size i believe -- not sure though). sorry if i sound like im flaming, just correcting some statements :)
In response to the post, the RL jet is for strategic loads, while the PS one is for tactical operations. Major difference, and room for both(if they were both existant).

Galaxy is better, of course. Compared to the Marines' V-22 (http://www.boeing.com/rotorcraft/military/v22/flash.html) project, the Galaxy is top notch. Now if PlanetSide had a really large transport...
Oh yeah, and I know this is all fake. But who cares?
edit: This shot (http://www.boeing.com/rotorcraft/military/v22/images/v2212.htm) of the V-22 shows that it has to carry buggies underneath. No ramp? No internal storage?

That F-26 looks pretty slick. Especially with those wild color schemes.

ewww. I was much more fond of his ex-wife.
(PS: That was actually supposed to be a pic of an A-10 Warthog. I forgot I'd moved that one there in its place. Oh well.)
