It would make sense that the trunk on a basilisk would be smaller than one on a harasser.

ya i was thinking the same thing seer. but my main interest is in the basilisk, maybe the mosquito

I'd imagine the APCs have the biggest trunk.

I was wondering the same thing. Are you able to put back up armor in your trunk/locker? Otherwise you would have weapons to use when your bases power is down but not armor to wear. Does anybody know if you can?

whats a locker? do you get your own locker or* somethin?

Yeah, In every freindly base you get a locker. They are mainly for storeing weapons in case the power to the base gets knocked out and you can't use the consoles or to store pilfiered enemy weapons you might want later. But what I haven't seen addressed is if you can store a change of armor in there so your not stuck in standard armor when your power goes out.

I believe it's been confirmed that armor is not a corperal inventory item, and cannot be stored in a locker or trunk.

A locker is like a bank account in Everquest: you can access your locker account from any locker, no matter how you own it. Bases, Towers, Hacked enemy locker, it's all the same, plus they don't require power, good if your generator is down. And no, if you hack an enemy locker, you don't have access to theirs.

Ahhh, ok. Thanks for the answer. Kinda sucks for all those people depending on their MAX armor =)

I hope no one is 'depending on max armor'--there are going to be a large number of situations where max armor isn't feasible. Respawning at an AMS or Tower, for one.

Besides, you can (in theory) put up a good show of defending yourself with the BR 1 default certs.

trunks aren't anything like what i expected them to be.

they come pre-filled with all the ammo the vehicle uses.... with a few empty slots around the edges, enough for some infantry gear, but all vehicles carry in their trunks the maximum amount of vehicle ammo they can carry (veh ammo is larger than infantry ammo).

lockers are 3-4 times larger than tank trunks, and like... ten times larger than buggy trunks? i don't know for sure, don't mess with them that much..

You can dump the vehicle ammo if you don't want it pre-filled, correct?

ya, so if you wanted to pilot a defenseless vehicle with maximum storage capacity, you can :)

kinda pointless tho, since if you wanted to function as resupply, an AMS would be much better.

basilisk is 11x11 i THINK.

even the largest trunks dont hold that much gear unless you strip the vehicle of ammo.
