So, after deciding to purchase new mobo and cpu in aobut a month, what should i cool it with? post yer best, yet economical, choices to cool the cpu and mobo and whatever other suggestions you got.

Mobo: ASUS A7N8X
CPU: AMD Athlon XP "Barton" 2500+

I'd say buy a Thermalright SLK800/900 and a nice 92mm YS-Tech fan or 92mm Papst on top @ 7volts - if at default volts that will be a quiet choice and adequate cooling - also you'll probably want/need some Arctic Silver III thermal compound or similar :)

honestly, Its been proven that the stock coolers with the AMD's are more than adequate for cooling. so honestly nothing more than a case fan or two is all the extra you would need.

Taisol. Very good coolers and relatively priced. If you don/t want anything too exotic, go with Taisol.
