Just wandering if a person in reinforced armor can drive a maurader.
On another note, hello all. I've been following PlanetSides devolpment for a couple of years now, just like most of you. I've been comming to this site for about the same time, because of its quality and the nice amount of information offered. Finally registered because of the question above. A friend and I have been discussing it for a while and it finally got to me. So.. hello again, and g'morning to you on the east coast.

Hey man, welcome to the forums, Yeah thats a good question you asked. LNS0388 and I have discussed this before. I would say yes but there is another side to the answer. When you look at the Maurader it has a closed cockpit-look to it. It does fall under the buggy genre so I would assume a reinforced could drive it but it does as i stated earlier have a closed top and a door. To conclude, I would say yes but there is room for debate. Hope I helped out buddy.

I hope not, Marauder seems overpowered enough as it is.

Hey Hamma, or any of you l33t types that have already gotten to play the game...
The official site lists the Vanu tank with a handling class of "good" which is the same rating listed for the NC and Vanu assault buggies (and better then the TR assault buggy). Does this mean that that beast is as fast as the NC assault buggy??

Not as fast... but from what I've read it turns as well and can strafe. That would probably justify the high handling stat

The flip side of being able to drive a Marauder with reinforced is you should also be able to be sniped out of it. :)

Yeah the Vanu tank will most likly be the fastest tank in the game as well as more agile then the others, however it does not have the fire rate of the prowler nor the huge damage of the vanguard so it all evens out in the end =P

Yeah, I proposed that they would because it serves to reason the cockpit type wouldn't change between the Harasser and Marauder. Good to know, but where is it's trunk? I can't find it on the model...

Woah woah woah, i thought it was said that no vehicles besides the basilisk or wraith could be driven by reinforceds. If they can, that's only better for me but i read recently on psu somewhere that reinforceds cannot drive any vehicle but the basilisk/wraith.

The only vehicles Reinforced can't drive is the Mosquito, Reaver, Prowler/Vanguard/MagRider, and Lightning. The APCs I'm not sure about, and the AMS I'm also not sure about. I'm fairly certain the APCs and AMS can be piloted in Reinforced though.
