Is it a instant aim like UT? Or is it more like a closing in rectile?
Can u run and aim/shoot? or would that be impossible?

im not a beta tester but have used the cone of fire system in other games
u can run and shoot..and aim at ur enemy...u just wont hit em...much.
its not hitscan ( where ur crosshairs are when u shoot is where the bullet lands)

It's good. Accuracy sucks if you're running while shooting, so firefights generally involve a lot of crouching and shooting. The lack of headshots also makes it really cool, as people will use cover often without fear of forcing the enemy to aim for your most vulnerable spot.

the cone of fire system needs major tweaking. As it stands now its very difficult to use. It is a weird learning curve for it over other FPS games. The guns also need some balancing as well.

Depends on the range. Indoors, sure, probably, but outdoors at a fairly long range, no, you won't hit enough to justify thel wasted ammo.

I couldn't be more glad. I am tired of run and gun games like Unreal. The way this game does it is alot more realistic. If you ever see a real life soldier running and shooting he is probably just laying down cover fire to keep people heads down. thank You SOE :D
