Quick question about your characters.....

How quick can you switch between your 4 characters?

Is it only when your picking your spawn point, can you pick which of your 4 you're going to be? When you enter a server? What?

Right now in Beta there are 3 servers: Development, which is always locked to the public. Auraxis, which is the general Beta server. And Staging, which is a backup server but also a server the devs use a lot to test stuff on.

Anyway, when you log in, you choose a server. If you choose Auraxis, you go to the character selection screen. There you see the 4 characters (or 4 slots if you've made no guys on Auraxis) you have on Auraxis. Note that these characters are unique to each server -- the Warborn on Staging is actually a dirty Vanu traitor! ;) Anyway, when you log on with that character, you go to wherever he was last at. So if I logged out on Forseral with Warborn, he'd log back in at the same spot on Forseral. If I want to pick a different character, I have to log back out, log back in, go to Auraxis, and pick a different guy. The actual process of fully logging out from within the game takes between 30 and 10 seconds, depending on whether you're in an enemy SOI, a neutral SOI, or a friendly SOI.
