Hello all, I know there are alot of people here that are VERY good at Photoshop 7 and such, I am just wonderin if anyone out there could share what plugins you use, I happen to use:
Aurora
Xenofex
EyeCandy 4000
Flaming Pear (all of them like blade pro and such)
Or any methods you think are really cool and would like to share
I happen to like to do cool spell effects by taking a layer and drawing a red line on it with a small airbrush, then I take another layer under it and paint a slightly bigger orange line under it so it "glows". You can see that effect on www.eqxp.com
You can see my work at www.eqxp.com and click on gallery. (im the lead artist)
Thanks
:)

Hey Khronos, just saw that backround you made, top notch stuff there :)
Did you do that with just photoshop? Look like a little MAX is in there (I put alot of 3dsmax stuff in my pic for fun :D )
Also, anyone who has some cool things that they do in Photoshop please share!

oh thanks a lot Ginzue ;)
i used a program called Zbrush for the "sentinel eye" thats in it.
the main background was hand painted in Z as well...then photoshop was used for compiling it all and adding some finishing touches.
i havent had a chance to really work with 3dsmax..but i know of how great the software is.
i think its nice to add a touch of 3d to artwork. really adds some little details that make the whole image seem to look better.

Is Zbrush a plugin or a program on its own?
<--- Hey look :D
I just added a picture under my name :p

Zbrush is a standalone 2d/2.5d/3d program
u can find a demo at
http://www.pixologic.com
[the demo can use all functions of normal program except the following: cant import textures...cant save tools...cant resize canvas..i dont believe u can import alphas or "brushes"...i dont think u can save materials..and theres a couple other things]
ooh very nice avatar
