Chatting on the move

Do you have to stop to chat?
like if we were driving along in the harrasser would i have to stop to ask my gunner were we should go? Or can i keep going and type at the same time? (Same with skeeter)

well, you wouldnt be able to type and use your arrow keys/wasd at the same time to turn, but if you have a joystick.... :)

vehicle just push the throttle button (1-0, 0 being 100% and 1 being 10% and everything between)

What they said, if in MAX or on foot then make sure your path is clear, hit Q and type away. If in a vehicle (air or ground) same thing except hit 1-0 instead of Q.

I would just like to add that the voice binds are extensive, useful and very user intuitive.

I have never like the voice binds as much as I do in this game.

You get a great feeling when you sneak up behind an enemy, vocally tell them that "you stand no chance against me." And then promptly murder them. :D

and how does autorun work if you change the contols to the arrow keys? will it still work fine?

Exactly the same way as you can type whilst running in EverQuest - remember the chat engine and controls are very alike. (why re-invent the wheel)
