I've just recovered from a nasty Trojan Horse.

kdll.dll, not sure how I got it, prevented my PC from recognizing the C (main) drive in 3 out of every 4 startups. We managed to install Norton, it found it, kdll.dll has been nuked. That explains my recent inactivity on these boards.

I have sub7. I tested it by sending it to a friend and used a type of matrix effect where his screen went black and I typed a green text. It's awsome.

 @ sub7
definately a "1337 h4x0r" tool

fun thing to mess around with on your buddies..but 99% of the time easily detected and removed.

viruses/hacking = :nono: ;)

Damn it! It's still there! Norton could not find it, and my dad is format-happy.

I will probably have to run the PS beta on this (my dad's PC). Oh well, it's got 512 RAM. (Also has 1800 MHZ but I'm not sure about the graphics card.)

I once had two variations of the Klez worm on an old computer... 384 FREAKING COPIES of them!!! My dad NEVER updates his software (including anti-virus). Needless to say, we had to reformat, and now I monitor all the family's computer issues.
