Router Problem

I would submit this question in the beta forums, but i cant access it for some reason. But anyways here goes. I have a router and i cant play planetside without being disconnected 10 minutes later. Is there any news on whether servers are going to be stabilized soon or any info on how to fix my problem?

Try some of these things:

Set your computer to the DMZ host (demilitarized host).

If you know what ports PS uses set the router to forward them to your computer.

set your router to allow your computer access to all ports.

lol sorry if i sound like a router n00b, but I really dont know how to do anything you just said. If you could explain it, it would greatly be appreciated...

Well i can't really explain it. Every router handles it differently. Read the manual that came with it or go to the manufacturer website and look around for help.

I have a Linksys router and initially had the same problem. I updated the firmware at their website and that fixed the problem for me.
