I bet when Matrix: Reloaded is in theaters they'll show a preview for Matrix: Revolutions coming out in november.
Edit: For some strange reason I think Morpheus is going to die. If not in reloaded, then in revolutions.

I saw your post and downloaded it. Thanks Dio!!!!!
I have one question about the new trailer. What's with the twins with white hair? I always thought they were 2 "good guys" but I saw Morpheus fighting them in the newest trailer(although I guess that could have just been training).

In the trailer, someone (I believe Trinity) says, "Hmmmm, upgrades." so I am assuming it's an upgrade of the original Sentinels, or perhaps an alpha version. Not sure.

Have any of you seen "Final flight of the Osirus" yet? When I went to see dreamcatcher a 15-20 minute movie came up that had INCREDIBLE graphics. Better than Final Fantasy or anything else. It's about Zion. You should go see a movie just to watch it.
Watched Anger Management on Friday, they had a M:R preview... and omg... there's this part, where Neo takes on a bunch of Agent Smiths using a quarter staff? OMG... *nearly jizzed as he exclaimed out loud in the theatre*
*wants M:R like a fat kid wants cake*

I read this a while ago, Civilian, you may have as well: the twins. (http://filmforce.ign.com/matrix/articles/373/373254p1.html)
I sort of explains what they are.

Thanks, that was immensely helpful. So I guess they really aren't on either side. Although the article seems to mention only the fights against the "rebels" and the reason for fighting the rebels may be because they are interested in giving up their "rockstar" lives.
I can't wait for this movie.

I actually wasn't all that impressed with the first Matrix until I watched it a few times. It just isn't the type of movie that really appeals to me, but these next 2 look amazing.

I like walking out of a movie theater and saying to myself, "Could it really be like that?" That's what appealed to me the most about the Matrix. Not the cool special effects, but the whole idea of a world of the future alive in the past. The whole movie was very Zen-like, which appeals to my nature.

I find it very interesting how so many people go crazy over the Matrix.
It is a good Story line in a sorts, but when you look at it from the big picture stand point, it has no sustaining power. I am already starting to think reloaded will be just decent and that Revelations is going to be so bad that it will make Master of Disguise look like an opscar flick.
When I look at the Matrix. I see a plot line derived for one movie and no more. SO now not only are they going to have to back track, but they are gonna have to explain shit they never wanted to explain.
The Matrix :Reloaded
Interesting, should be decent at best. The action sequences by this point are old so the only way to make them good is to now incorporate lots of CGI and incomprehensible special effects that make me believe I am watching Final Fantasy. NOw i am NOT saying it is going to suck. BUt by no means will it be "FING AWESOME!" because it just won't. This movie series has a plot line that just seems to drop off more and more as time goes on.
I Enjoyed the first matrix yet now whenever I watch it now and find myself bored quickly. The novelty has worn off.
SO in end to my ranting. I just find it interesting that you all think it will be so amazing. I honestly do not think it will be. The highway scene should be good, but ehh besides that i don't think I will be that intrigued.
When the first Matrix came out I saw it 4 weeks before the masses saw it because I project at a theatre on the weekends. I was right there on the front lines telling people to see it.
Striker
I would try to agree or disagree with your post but the only thing i manage to understand in it was you think Reloaded won't be good because "the plot line seems to drop off".
Not sure how to argue against that...heck i don't even know what you meant.

I get distracted very easily in posts, sorry.
Hmm, to me the story just doesn't seem enthralling. The human race fighting against machines that have them enslaved. Seems good enough. But when I take a look further into it, it doesn't seem to be as stable as I first thought.
The story has many holes in my opinion. Holes that have already been brought up time and time again, so I will not bring them up further.
The first Matrix explored all there is to explore of the Matrix. It bent the laws of the known universe and willed them to it's own intent. I have seen it all.
I think that reloaded will be decent, but not good because the story for me is now starting to decline. Does the human race survive? I don't give a F. Just show me some fighting.
To me I feel disenfranchised with the actors because i don't really care wether they die or live.
I don't think Keanu is a good actor =p in addition.

Ahhh much better, thanks for re-explaining it. :D
I don't agree or disagree yet though since i haven't seen the sequels. I agree that they could fuck it up nicely by just churning out 2 more Matrix movies to get the green, but that doesn't mean it can't go the other way and be 2 more movies that have an interest story to tell.
It's kinda like SW. The sequels to episode 4 = excellent, prequels = not so excellent. :D

lesson 1:
'The Matrix: Reloaded' is a sequel to 'The Matrix'
lesson 2:
from when i last heard, 'Matrix: Revolutions' is a Prequel to 'The Matrix', explaining how humanity got into this mess in the first place.
Lesson 3:
Squeeky, you ever seen Scary Movie 1? how about playing 'Max Payne' or 'Dead to Rights'? the Wachowski brothers practically invented the concept of 'bullet time', (if you have not seen any of the above movies, or played the above games, 'bullet time' is where the action slows down so much that the bullets seem to be moving at walking speed, usually with a camera rotating around the person being shot at.) and even if you don't care for slow-downs, just watch the lobby shootout scene. more flying lead, plaster, and marble i have yet to see! the kung-fu scenes are also very nicely done.
seriously, you don't want to miss out on the Matrix. it is definetely my favorite movie of all time.
(note for matrix fanatics: if you watch the 'subway station' scene when No and the Agent are shooting at each other, you see that Agent Smith doesnt kick off the wall, he just goes airborn. tells you how much detail i watch these movies in...)

Not trying to nit-pick you but Revolutions is also a sequel. There may be a prequel coming later though.

oh for crist sakes people here whatch the trailer
http://whatisthematrix.warnerbros.com/rl_cmp/trailer_final.html
and you know what there are no amazing movies unless you let them be
as far as plot holes go you'll find plotholes and problems with any movie if you watch it enough.
movies are simple they are escapism ment to entertain
people should stop over analizing movies and just sit back and enjoy them.
there are bigger things to worry about let people enjoy there 2 hours of being a hero

(The Matrix) :domotwak: (Striker)
It is an awesome action movie. The plot, while maybe consider rehash of other plots, is very original in execution and blending. Any plot holes I've found haven't been too glaring and I'm sure the Wachowski brothers would easily be able to explain it to us. :D
Oh yeah, they're not just making another Matrix because the first one did well either. When the Wachowski brothers brought their plan to the WB, they had it as a trilogy... and from what I hear the executives' oogled and thought each "episode" was more intricate and entertaining than the last. Indeed... I do not think we'll be disappointed at all. :D
