From what I hear, Open Beta is not starting until tuesday or Wednesday.

I am guessing those are the days you should be expecting them, so don't be upset if you don't recieve them monday.

Open Beta begins Monday (4/14)

See the Beta Website for more details, but Open Beta has begun. The CDs are in the mail.

The server will be reset at that time and all characters will be wiped. You'll be starting anew with Battle Rank 1 and Command Rank 1 characters. But from then until the end of Beta, we anticipate no character wipes.

So build 'em up and see how far you can get!

You can believe what you want, I am just telling you what the president of SOE said earlier this evening ingame. This is not third hand information.

However just because Smed said it does not mean he is correct. I am just saying, don't be upset if you don't get your CDs until like Tuesday or Wednesday.

Technically Open beta starts monday. On monday, there is going to be a character wipe, however it is more likely that you will get in game Tuesday or Wenesday like John Smedley said.

It's in their hands now.

They state WITHIN 1-3 days via website for delivery.

East Coast shipment went out Friday.
West Coast shipment went out Saturday.

They WANT people to have the CD's at the same time [the USPS can handle a 25k package pickup already presorted] that is why the two batchs were sent. Open beta is mainly for stress testing right? Why have only half of the people on due to logistics? Hence the two batches.

No, but I am sure he could be a representive of SOE since he is the president (you remeber SOE, there the ones making this game and running the beta).

Yes, that's a given. My point was to give people a positive side since this guy knows about just as much as we do with regards to the mail.
