So when PS is launched

and everyones all hyper to start fragging but can't because all the home continents are as far away from eachother as possible and we don't have anny certs for transports...

please tell me it won't be like that... sure hope we get some more than just the basic starting cert. I just don't want to start my PS playing by running around from base to base opening lockers for BEP's =P

So annyone have the faintest idea on what our starting kit will be? The basic cert + 1 or 2 more or something else?

I asked Hamma the very same question last night, and he mentioned something about being able to get a few certs by going through the VR training, and that the Dev's are concidering starting you out with a basic vechicle cert (like the buggy) so you don't have to walk.

The way it sounded to me, was that the Dev's haven't really finalized what your going to get at start up.

I'm sure you'll get a couple Certs to start. Even if you don't, well, you only need one person with a transport Cert to drive an APC.

As for startup certs, as of right now you start with standard assault that gets you a few weapons

My question about the max is thus: What weapons does each have? It looks like 2 chainguns for the TR, a energy cannon for Vanu and a BFG for the NC, but it would be nice to be sure.

You can outfit it with different setups.. hopefully I can get the MAX dev question soon - it will answer it better than I ever could.

On one of the Gamespot videos I saw the Vanu MAX was shooting some huge pinkish things at enemies that probably did some good damage.
