Good movie man. (Yeah I know, I posted right after you set it up) I would love to see more like the first one, regardless of the bandwith. These movies are worth every k/bps. Keep em coming! :p

Really cool, Thanks!

You got some darn impressive film skills man! By the way, how many boomers did that MAX take to fall? Surely it wasnt a one-hit-kill?

I get an error message after it's done downloading :(

It says:

Windows cannot find "C:\.....Sabotage[1].zip"

Edit: Hmm never mind, it worked the 4th time i did it.

Nice job.

I thought the retarded TR Max was pretty cool. He looked like a lost little dog trying to get up those stairs after he heard the vehicle terminal explode.

I watched the 1st movie and the beginning was dope! 3rd person views, good capturing of the epic scale of Auraxis, all cool stuff. It kind of degenerated into just a random series of 1st person view kills tho....I think itd be cool if you developed it a little bit more like the first few scenes.

2nd movie was cool, but the terminal sabotage kind bland.

Nice job overall tho. If anything its great to actually hear the ingame effects *drools and checks mail for beta cds again*

Dang!

Click on the link in his sig (or this one www.malvision.com)
Then click on the link to the movie.

The only things I can click on are updates, FAQ, and movies. Theres nothing to click on in updates, and in the PS movies, theres a big VS logo.

I am interested in making video game movies on my computer. I got the video editing software, but now I dont know how to copy video of games to my computer. I know of connecting a vcr and camcorder to my video card and recording it to those, and than transfering it from those back onto my computer, but I dont want to do it that way. Is there any way to record my video of my playing a game, say, Planetside, or Battlefield, or UT2003 on my computer... on my computer?

Tricky

To input video from a VCR to your machine, it's best to get an Imaging Capture Device or an ATI All In Wonder card. Dazzle makes some good ones.
Check some out here (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.asp?submit=manufactory&catalog=47&manufactory=1810&DEPA=1&sortby=14&order=1)

Yeah Tricky, but is there anyway to record a game on your computer, without a VCR or a camcorder, just record it straight onto you hard drive? I dont want to have to go and record it onto a vcr/camcorder then back onto my computer. I want to just record it straight from game to computer.

Been wanted to do this for a long time but havent had to know how to do it without a camcorder/vcr. I dont want ot have to buy special coords and all that, I want to cut out the middle man.

Tricky
2003-04-16, 07:34 PM
I'm in the same boat as you, would kill for just a peice of software that would record it live. Problem is, the only one I've found. Was crap, and it slowed my system way down during recording. Looks like VCR is the only way.

Venoxile
2003-04-17, 01:24 AM
as a request, could we see grunt work next week? I know you're vanu so I think it'd be pretty hard for you to continually showing yourself owning people if you're also going to be showing gruntwork. I'd like to see how battles actually look like, like some 60 player battle inside a base or something.

ExCaLiBuR
2003-04-17, 01:28 AM
Venoxile, that would definetely be entertaining, but it would be pretty hard to do. To capture a 60 player battle on film while using a first person view. As far as I can imagine, it would seem very set-up. But still, it's entirely possible :)

ExCaLiBuR
2003-04-17, 01:31 AM
And forgot to add: The only true way to experience the adrenaline and excitement of a 60 player battle is to experience it yourself, because the thought of experiencing it first hand is what makes it enticing and gripping.
