How many posts does it take to get each rank?

i.e. Recruit (none duh), Soldier, Veteran, Commander, Admiral, etc.

It should be time based... like how long you've been here.

Well it obviously isn't because I haven't been here long and I'm already a Commander. Oh and a flaw in that system is that you can just register an account early on and not use it for a long time and gain rank for no reason.

So that Admiral rank is really a personalized one and the next is |337 whore at 1000? Dang I got a loooong way to go!

I think it's

0-24 = Recruit
25-249 = Soldier
250-499 = Commander
500+ = Admiral

Then there are people like that have earned special titles through their actions in the forums. Take Tobais for example. His title is "I'm with the Vanu", and I doubt I need to explain how he earned that one :D

Or mine that says "Staph" instead of "Staf" because having me on the team is more like a nasty infection then actual help.

Now that you have this secret information don't abuse it. When the forums first opened Post Counts were visable to everyone, but someone (ok it was me) spammed the forum with useless garbage in an effort to get more posts then Hamma so they were dissabled to prevent spamming.

To see your # of posts either check any PM you sent, you'll see it under your name, or just seach for posts made by you and you'll see the number at the top.
