Beta Download

I can't stand it. 9 hours for the download. Im glad Doobz gave me the friend account and all but 9 hours on a cable modem. This sucks. Im going to go brood and hope that the d/l servers clear up. Disgusting.

9 hours? Yikes, the download server must be really clogged. It took me a little under 2 hours when I downloaded it :huh:

Funniest thing. I gave up all hope of being able to DL the game before my CDs came (wont come till friday I'm sure) so I logged on to IRC and visitted the server channel for the DAoC server I used to play on and RIGHT as I logged on some guy goes "Yea I am in exclusive beta and I just got an email saying I can invite a friend, anyone want in beta?"

Download server is seriously clogged.

It was 4 hours when I started it yesterday afternoon, it hasnt finished when Ive come back into work this morning, thats on a 1Mb connection.
