a friend of mine got into beta but the disk hasent arrived a week later and he cant find a link to the download

Is it in the invite e-mail or the beta site or what?

If he got in open beta, his disk should arrive today or tomorrow, or at the latest monday. They had a shipping miscommunication @ SOE.

Only if it said so in the email. Should have said:
Welcome to EXCLUSIVE Beta

then you will have the link in the email. Otherwise he has to wait on the CDs.
