First thoughts of the game...

Well I do not have the best card or computer out there, I have to play on low res which is not all that bad graphics. I first choose VS to play on. Loged in and was like OMFG this game is awsome. Mostly everything is explained to you in help windows. I did insta action after awhile of running around the santuary and was spawned at a tower which was under attack by TR and they were coming down the stairs. We held the bottom for sometime before the constant push of Max's and miniguns brought us down. A TR with a minigun would pop around and start movin around killing 1-3 of us before he would die, then another would come, then A max. Seems a little powerful to me when they could do this. I think I got around 500 grief points that night =D. Next day was mostly trying out my flying skills in the mosquito and was on some continent of ice not sure of the name which was mostly VS and NC fighting. Lots of the pheonix missles around which are powerful aswell and fast. I think this game has done a great job in the stealth area and how they made it work very nice unlike DAoC. VS needs some tweeking to boost their weapon damage. Oh and sniping very hard to do I give credit to the ones who get good at this. So today when I get home gonna switch to TR and give them a Try for a day or two then on to NC I think.

Glad yer having fun with it man! Good attitude, too. I've heard person after person complain about things and it was nice to actually read a "nice" comment about the game.

BTW, that's what I'm doing is playing all the empires. So far Vanu is what I like best. No offense to the other quality peeps out there, tho.

Have you tried any of the trining stuff yet ? How do you think vehicles do in the game ? have you tried messing with cert points & implants yet ? if so what do you think of them




Do you see a lot of tatics or just run and gun ?

yes I did all the training, hehe took me 2 hours to find it, but that was because somehow I ended up and in a transport ship and just lost track of time fighting people. Vehicles do pretty good, most of what I see are Reavers around and mosquitos and Ants. Right now I just switched to Reaver cert and this plane is awsome rockets and guns very cool. I think that on the vehicles the guns need a boost in power seems to take forever to kill people with it. Rockets are fine as they are. the Training area is very cool and well done helps a lot and you get to try everything even without cert. I treid all Max's and all guns when I played the second day. My favorites are Rocklet and Punisher. The implament I currently have is range modifier, its nice to have 4x,8x,12x zoom on all my weapons =D. I haven't had a chance to try many land vehicles yet but from the Magrider gunner seat seems to be a little weak against infantry. Any way still trying the game out and still havin lots of fun. Reaver is by far my favorite so far ;). I think the Reaver will probably be msot used vehicle since it does so well against infantry and other vehicles.
