mm, goldeneye. There is something cool about a gathering a 4 people to play a rather mediocre, but great-for-a-console FPS. Shit talking, alcohol consumption and slamming of controllers, etc :)

Counter-Strike kicks all Fps Competion, you just can't beat it. It is the best in the world. One good play and your hooked, I promise. Something about seeing some ones brains splattered by your Ak-47 that appeals to you.

I MUST admit that AVP 2 is a great game. Being able to play as any of three types of creatures is fun. If you like the idea of being an Alien, Predator, Colonial Marine, or Corporate Soldier from the movies.. this is your ticket :). Great job of imitating the movies, I must say.

Unreal Tournament (1 and 2003)
You just dont get any fps with more intence, non stop action, esp when you are on a good sized ffa map with lots of people, and 30 rockets coming in from all sides, you transport to dodge them, only to go right into a redeamer :lol: oh ya, good stuff....

But 2nd I would say is tied for C&Cren and Wolfenstien

I am anti-sniper games all the way, just makes the games soo... boreing having to sit still, creap around, so much more fun to go out with rockets and flak cannons going off everywhere.... And I dont like to die with 1 hit :p I like that you can actually run around, take a few hits, and dodge things :p

Just my thoughts anyway, but to each his own, thats why they are all out there ;)

Well, yeah, your kinda right dude, you just haven't probably scored enough kills or you get ripped apart too easly and have got sick and tired of getting fragged too much. Hey, we all have are time when we just suck after a while so take it easy.

After reading this thread, I found an old disk that came with one of my vid cards and I started to play Deus Ex. Lots of fun but I'm not very good at it. Getting the hang of it though.

Deus ex was pretty much perfect in everyway, except for the fugly graphics. Deus Ex 2's graphics look almost as good as doom 3 though, should be coming out the same time a PS.
