My download kept stopping when I got to a new file, like the patch server couldnt find it or something :confused:

If you think this patch is going to be fast, you are deeply deluded. According to the producer letter, there are 60,000 beta accounts out there. All of them need this patch. Accounting for delivery time of discs, but counter-compensating because lots of people need to DL the WHOLE 2GB of game and not just the 300MB patch...let's say 40,000 people are trying right NOW (there will be more tommorow as more people get discs)..

300 MB * 40,000 people = 12 Terabytes to be downloaded. Why yes, that is twelve TRILLION bytes.

If you think that SOE's internet connection can handle this with no difficulty, I would suggest that you seek professional medical assistance.

Oh I wasn't complaining guys not at all :) Just joking that once we get our cd's today we'll be waiting a bit to play while downloading a 300meg patch on what is prolly a very congested soe server right now. Kinda humorous if you really think about the situation of us waiting as long as we have for discs, then having to wait some more.
