well, my friend was here with me waiting for the mail all day, so when they got here we had to install it and everything. i told him to open the second cd and get it ready, he said he thought he smelled something. started sniffing around, the cd's have one helluva stench to them. anyone who has cd's, for real, sniff them, it's gross.

b.t.w. i just experienced my first game crash in ps :( 3 mins left for capping a building and i hit esc. to accept an invitation to a squad and b00m, game over.

I've noticed newly burned cd's, some of them, give off a certain smell. I suppose it's the plastic that had been burned, aye?

At any rate.. they could smell like anything, I just hope I get em tomorrow, smelly, or not :)

Actually, from what I understand, CDs made in mass quantities are actually pressed instead of burned. I work with a guy who used to work for Sony of all places where they made music CDs and Playstation CDs and he went into boring ass detail about how they're made one night.

Just a tip, the some of the materials that make up cd's are fatal to us in any form while alone. Just a tip, thats all, so sniff away.
