Joysticks for PlanetSide...

Can anyone tell me how to setup a joystick to work with PlanetSide? Everything my friend and I have tried has failed. We haven't been able to find any instructions on this topic. Flying the Reaver, Misquito, and Galaxy with the mouse, is, to say the least, shit. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

They just added a joystick option in the options menu, havent checked it out though. I just saw it after this patch so atlest they're doing something.
