View Full Version : XP sharing between vehicle crew?

I like a lot the design of the Vanguard, and I'm considering piloting them as my main occupation in PS.
I was wondering how the experience is shared between the crew when a vehicle kill someone. Is the gunner taking it all? If it's the case, then either I'll be gunner some of the time, either I'll be ramming a lot with it ;)

This was one of my main concerns as well.
You should both be in the same squad to share exp.

I was concerned because most ppl wont drive if they dont get any exp.. and that would mean less vehicles on my team.

XP is scared through the whole group. the nice thing is that the XP is not exactly shared. instead every player in a squad that is near each other all get the full xp for each kill.

If you ask me, XP should be shared in a vehicle regardless of if the other people are in your squad or not. Just like capping a base, it was a effort by multiple people and should be rewarded regardless of squad status.

I've been thinking about this too.
I think that SOE needs to make it possible to bundle larger groups of people. 10 people in a squad? That's like nothing!
I think we need to be able to make larger raid groups - about 100 would suffice, I think.
Or how will the Galaxy pilot get exp? Or the tanks, the buggies and the Reavers etc? Most of the vehicles will probably stay outside the base, defending it, as the 'grunts' move down to cap the base.
Tieom, if the gunner and the pilot are in different squads, do both of the squads get the exp? Because, then it would be possible to have a situation where 20 people are sharing exp, which is not what the designers intended. And if the pilot or the gunner isn't sharing exp with his squad, what is the incentive (exp wise) for his squad to keep him grouped?
