Rate of stamina loss

This question is geared at all you beta testers out there. I have been aware of stamina being in PS since the beginning, but I never really thought of it as anything else but Mana points in a FPS. I just figured that you would lose stamina when you use implants, and maybe a little if you try running across long distances. I was bored one day and decided to play the half life mod (or maybe it isnt a mod) and i noticed that when i ran around, I started losing stamina from the get go. I couldnt run 200 meters without taking a breather. I have been looking at all the screenshots i can , and as far as i can tell, you lose none or very little stamina when doing anything else but activating implants. So beta testers, is that how the stamina will work? or is running around/shooting really a factor for stamina lose?

You lose stamina for jumping, also.

you lose stamina when you use an implant and when you jump. its not worth jumping because there is no reason to do it.

ok, so...stamina goes down with jumping, implants and getting shot at, right?

I may be mistaken, but when he said "When your getting shot at there is" I think he meant as in bunny-hopping to avoid bullets, not stamina loss.

if you jump up at the point of impact when a vehicle is trying to run you down, you don't get killed.

Also, i find myself so frustrated with wasting way too much time trying to find my way to the ground floor exit of a base that it's easier to just jump off the 3rd floor balcony to get to the v. station. Only 8% health loss and much time saved.

Please god say you can't jump many times in a row. That's the thing I hate the most about UT. A bunch of idiots jumping around like...well...idiots.

mt stamina only goes down when i use implants... not when i get shot at, jump, or run. when i get shot, jump and run it stays 100%...its odd, but its good for meee

glad to hear stamina is mostly PS's version of mana points. Thanks for clearing that up guys. :)
