This game rocks!!

Granted there are some Major Issues that need to be fixed (crashes, FPS lag) but even as a Beta it's fun to play.

Graphics are ok, not Quake 3 but very nice, then again this game is not about Graphics, it's about Gameplay and Teamwork. Sounds are good, the music reminds me a bit of T2 in that it adds to the game but is not distracting and does not drown out important sounds. Weapons still need a bit of balancing but are shaping up well.

Now does this game rock enough to pay however much a month to play?? I'd say Yes, conditionally. If the FPS lag, crashs and a few other minor bugs are fixed and with a few tweaks here and there I'd give it a Yes! or maybe even a Heck Yeah! ;)

I think those issues will definitely be resolved by release. That's why so many folks have been invited for open beta so that server issues can be ironed out.

Well the music is fine, except.. except for one TR song. There is a snare drum roll in it and I always think someone is firing at me when that damn song comes on.. but besides that, I agree with everything you say Maddog. Its like crackrock. I.. cant.. get.. enough!! :D

Current system:

P4 2.4ghz
512meg DDR 2100 Ram (upgrading to 1gig soon)
G4 Ti4400 w/ 128meg (latest nVidia drivers 43.45??)
Directx 8.1a
Win98SE
DSL

Turning off Anti-Aliasing seemed to help a bit but still get FPS lag when entering some rooms.

Anyone know a good guide on optimizing G4 Ti4400 & Win98??

Upgrade to Win2k or WinXP and get DirectX 9.
