After watching Mir's Sabatoge video (about 100 times :D) I noticed that he just dropped the ACE and it turned into a boomer. What I want t oknow is how did it know he wanted a boomer and not a anti-vehicle mine or something else? Do you buy ACEs for each type of device? For instance, is there a boomer ACE, a spitfire ACE, ect.
And also, could you place a anti-vehicle mine on a vehicle pad? If so that would be cool, as soon as he spawns his pretty little tank it gets blown into the air. Thanks in advance.

when put the ACE in ur holster slot and then switch to it, all you gotta do is right click and u can switch through the 4 different modes.
then just look straight down till your crosshair turns green, and click to plant.

not sure about the mine on the vehicle pad tho

When you have the ACE equiped just right click and it toggles what device you want it to turn in, then look at the ground and deploy it.

Hmmmm, in Mir's video he uses a boomer in a corridor to take out a max and some other soldier. Are boomers diferent than mines?

there are
Remote Detonated Boomers
HE mines
Spitfire Turrets
and my mind just went blank but there are proximity Sensors too

Boomers are deployed and then remotely detonated.

so yes, they are different than mines.

ACEs are indeed l33t. As for mines on v-pad i haven't tried it but i'd say most likely no, but you could however set it right at the exit. In fact even if you can put it directly on the v-pads the exit would be better since the driver wouldn't see it till it's too late due to the slope.

I tried messing around with mines last night and I noticed that I could not put 2 of them very close together. I had to get about 20 feet away from any other one before I could place another with getting a message saying I am too close to another placable. Has it always been like that or am I doing things wrong?

Maybe that's just there to stop people from putting like 12 of them side by side?
