Is there a BEP difference for kills in vehichles

no idea, since SOE hasn't replied to me for beta or anything, was i supposed to receiveve an email or something?:furious: anyway, if i was im gona be POed at them, but actually it might make sense to get different BEP amounts for being in a vehicle, since certain kills could be easier, such as killing infantry with a tank.

They never tell you if you weren't accepted, you only get an E-mail if you were.

i personally think if your a tank driver u shouldnt get less BEP when you kill a inf because well thats what ur supposed to do u shouldnt get docked for doin, however if a inf kills a tank i think he should get a little mroe exp just because its prob a pain in a ass ( at least its difficult in bf1942). Then again i maybe wrong with hearing how the tanks suck so far

In fact, I'm pretty sure you DO get less BEPs for getting kills as a gunner (in a tank at least).

I've been a vanguard gunner steadily for two days now and I almost never see BEP rewards greater than 100 unless it's a MAX, then not usually over 200 (if I'm remembering correctly).

But that doesn't bother me because of course it balances out. In a Vanguard, we could take out a 100 infantry no problem if they never exploited our weakness(es).

if they made it the same like killing a reg infantry is equal to destroying a tank give the same..... thats gay... i mean sure it may make exp unbalanced or whatever.. but it makes since cause it is easy to kill reg infantry for exp, but if you destroy a tank then you should get more.. the logic being they harder to destroy and take more time..... so you should get more exp for destroying a vehicle. but SOE dont consider those things i dont guess. :(

I think if you DESTROY a vehicle you do get more BEPs.. I think the question/discussion was about the amount the gunner INSIDE the tank receives.

Dio, from my past two days experiences, the Vanguard's weaknesses are:
-Base turrets (not a problem if it's the only thing on you though)
-AV weapons (very ouch)
-Lightnings (can be taken, but hurt a lot)
-Reavers (too high to aim at and hard to track)
-AV MAX if they're grouped
-Weird bugs (sometimes the pilot and I would die after no damage done to the tank)
-Pilot death while outside repairing

That seems like a plentiful list but please don't anyone think I'm saying the Vanguard is weak by any stretch. It quite honestly and absolutely owns. I think the other heavy tanks do too, but I can't say from giving experience, only receiving.

i guess thats what he meant by the driver getitn exp, but if it was about gettin same exp from a infantry and tank.... caus ei would hope to god they would be different, and aircraft little higher then vehicles since they can get away faster and stuff like that... but its dumb if you kill a soldier and get well say 168 points....destroy a vanguard get 168 points....destroy a aircraft and get 168 points... it doesnt make sense at all the more effort it takes to destroy the infantry/vehicle/aircraft... the more points you should get.
