Tribes 3 gets officially announced tomorrow

I will definitely be looking forward to that press conference. I just hope they are bringing back the game that I loved so much(T1) and not T2.

Well they said that they know how T2 was messed up and what went wrong. They are more focused on T1 type physics with new features and gfx from what they said. Marweas btw ;)

The big news will be "who is developing this game?" Sierra said it will make a l ot very happy and is will be a huge suprise.

I hope they make a new game and not just an graphical update to T1 or T2. Thankfully nobody from the original dev team (dynamix) is working on T3 (btw, it won't be called tribes3 according to the PR guy) and they plan to have a big (maybe even public) beta test this time.

Shut it you T1 fanboys. T2 was fine (after all the patchs of course :D) you guys just didn't give it a chance. I started with T2 then moved to Tribes a bit this summer once both are very good games.

Thing is the "smart" people know that the blame was on top management not DaveG. Management told Dynamix to get that game out the door and make them some moeny before the game was complete.

The "smart" people realize this and know the SOE gave DaveG the free will be wanted for T2 and applied it to PS so it should be kick ass for retail.
