From what I hear most attacks end in a successful base cap and the defenders sound like complete n00bs (I would prolly be one of 'em:D). Is this true or is it personal propaganda on the writers part to only tell the good things:)... No offense to anyone.

I am not in beta so I can't be sure on this, but It seems to me that no one ever really defends bases much...... All the stories and such that I have heard are about attacks.

Few people would give a detailed account of how they got their asses kicked. ;)

Well...when you think about it..attacking is more simple than defending....usually...
I'd imagine there just isn't enough coordination in defending yet, however once the outfits all start getting their stuff together, taking bases from them will most likely get a lot more difficult.

I don't know, When I was defending one of the base, there was a huge battle between our base and the tower next to it that they capture. They had a nice streams of attacking coming at us, but we managed to hold them back a bit. At the end they captured the base...I don't know but some how they had a few lil dude that sneaked thru inside or something since most people just go to that big frontline to fight and not many are left to defend other area of the base I guess it would provide a open spot for a squad to go in. That is just my conclusion but I haven't had much time to play in major battle.

From viewing battles in beta. I think there were three occasions where they held down inside C&C waiting for aggressors to stop their hack of the base and the aggressors never showed. I deffinetly would like it if there was more defense going on but we are still in the preliminary stages of the game.

I like defending. If you die, you can just respawn right next to the action. The only prob is, you may have to wait a bit before dudes finally come to attack.

that is true. but its also true that people would rather be atacking then defending but at the same time i think most beta testers have plenty of stories about defending bases. i have plenty of stories about defending Kaang on Cyssor. thats my favorite place to play.
