Newb Questions

I am in the beta, but cant access the beta site, so I must as my newb questions here. Wow you guys seem like you have played it for years.

1) I hacked a control panel in my first 20 minutes lastnight. I dont know how to full the station after that, (says i have 15 minutes too)

2) Everytime I log in, all my setting are default again. My keys wont save, my res wont save, nothing. Shed some light on this?

3) What is the best way for me to be getting exp?, I type to people trying to get groups an no reply's?

Ill leave it with those questions for now 8).

1) you need to get an ANT vehicle, take it to a warpgate and fill it up, then bring it back to your base, park it in front of that satellite looking thing and fill up your power.

2) save your key binds to another name.

3) hit the Looking For Squad button up on your chat window to tell people that you are LFS

1. If you mean fill the generator up with NTU then you have to go charge an ANT at a warpgate and bring it back.

2. Go to the screen with the servers listed. Click options at the top for all the key commands. Do all the changes and remember to hit save.

3. Just fight with others and help them out. Maybe heal them or back them up. They might invite you to a squad. Or you could try forming your own squad.

Oops, they answered already. Some of my answers where incorrect to. :ugh: Guess I still have a ways to go before I know what I am talking about. :D

Not sure what you mean by "full the station". Please elaborate. I know that you have to defend the base for 15 minutes before you get the hack.

Not sure what's goin on there. Are you clicking the save button in the options menu? If you are you should report this bug on the beta forums.

Type /b (your certs here) LFS while in the sanctuary. I assume you have a hacking cert, you shouldn't have too much trouble finding a squad.

Wow took 2 minutes to get an answer! I guess the game is harder to pick up then i thought. No idea how to fill a nat, get a vehicle, etc. I dont even know how to use certs. Did you people just mess around to figure this out? Everytime i try to do something, i dont have access.

lol not in the beta myself but we have been waitng for this game ofr years! My official PS forum account dates from way back in Dec 2001 but iwas following the game from when the announced it...

Shame i didn't get into the beta but i guess i'd do even less revision if i was in it after all! :D
