Disconnecting?

I have quite a rickety internet connection, and i was wondering what would happen if I disconnected in the middle of a battle? Would I stay there in ghost form until I logged back in, or would I respawn back at the base? Also if I was flying a Galaxy when I disconnected, would it drop out the sky?

you would go link dead. [LD] shows up next to your name, and you would be a free kill to any enemies that showed up.
