Don't have one, I would say gauss, but its nerfed that much can't hit the broadside of a barn door...starting to look at punisher, usually grab cyclers or pulsars when i get the chance.

Lancer, easily. Followed closely by lasher.

Yes, Lancer is very nice. Don't understand why it's better against infantry than armors.

It's useful against soft targets, but it really works better against armor, IMO.

Three shots kill an Reinforced I think. That's pretty strong against soft targets. :D Not to mention it's rate of fire is very nice.

They have to be standing still or crouched within medium range, though. Too close and they can move and hit you with their rifle, too far and they don't fit into your cone of fire.

Heh, It does kill Infiltrators in one shot. I happened to kill a Vanu with a Lancer and looted him. I saw an Infiltrator with a REK out when I turned around and toggled on Darklight. I pulled out the Lancer and raped him a new anus with one blast.

Hmm, but I value my lancer ammo too much to waste it on infiltrators, who I can kill if I stare at them hard enough.

Uhh...

I'm getting confused here. You pretty much ditched the Pulsar, once You got the Lancer cert?

What would be the use of the Pulsar then, if the Lancer is indeed superior in every way?

Knuckles, the drawbacks of the Lancer are 2-fold:

1) Very small "magazine" size compared to the pulsar (6 vs like 30)

2) When you hit the trigger, there is a "warm-up" time before the shot is actually fired, so extra care needs to be taken to account for this...it also makes it fairly poor as a quickfire weapon for popping from around a corner, hitting someone, and ducking back.
